If Sgs / Sof Was Removed.....

...would you pay more monthly ($1-$2) if Jagex discontinued all SGS and SoF updates, or made existing ones unlockable content (like dragon keepsake after x quest points or x total level or something)?

 

 

Jagex needs cash to develop their game, I will give it to them if they stop pointless SGS/SOF updates and focus on quests, bosses, skill updates, creative stuff, graphical reworks, etc.

 

What do you guys think?

 

No matter what happens the RSOF will be full of complaints, I think Jagex realizes that and even though SOF was hated when it began, there will be grief if it is removed also.  I just think that it is too distracting.

 

Cosmetic items are cute, fun, unique, but only deserve to be a small part of the game.  Promotions via SOF can cause economic shift and can give in-game advantages based on luck or bought spins.  Tbh all spins should be removed idc if members price goes up.  If Jagex wants promotions to give out xp, just update the game to give new ways to give xp.  Skill or quest based content with xp lamp rewards are nice.  Free lamps and cash from a wheel is dumb.

 

I would pay more for removal of SGS/SOF.

I would agree, and hope that they get rid of sgs/sof. An intersting thing is that when i go to new games if it has any type of micro-transactions, I don't play it.

 

I don't like the idea of people being able to buy advantages in the game that the developers sell, i understand this going to happen no matter the case where people will be able to buy gold via blackmarkets, and buy exp via blackmarkets. However, i would like the game itself to maintain the integrity.
