Please Explain The Clan Avatar

Hey guys,

 

I realize this is probably the noobiest question ever but when word of the new Evolution of Combat was coming about I was unhappy and quit for a few months. While I was offline the new clan avatar came about, which nobody in game seems to know anything about. Could someone please explain it to me?

I've got on various help sites that explain the anagogic orts but they all say to add the to the avatar but I don't find anything that explains where or what the avatar is haha
