Hey stranger! Long time no talk! I know this forum isn't active but I still like posting every now and then. I'd like to first wish everyone a Happy New Year! This post is just to talk about some maintenance. To continue preserving this forum, I've recently updated a couple things. First and foremost, we're on a new server. We were starting to reach the end of life on some of the core software the previous server ran on. I felt this was a prefect opportunity to start fresh on something new and better. I've also updated the forum software. This adds a couple minor new features and some security fixes. Sadly there was some compatibility issues with our previous theme so you'll notice things look a little different. If I'm able to fix/update the previous theme, I'll bring it back but for now this is the new look for the forum. Lastly, I did notice some spammers came through. I've made some changes to hopefully prevent this from happening again.

Updated forum to 4.5.2 to improve security and functionality.

After hearing about the recent funding issues with our forum, a few members came forward and asked how they could help out, so we will now have donation system to allow our members to do so. Everyone's donation will be valued but please don't feel pressured into doing so. Our donations will be processed via Paypal to make donating safe and easy. For donations over $5 to the server, we'll add a Donators rank to your account with a few extra features added. Just private message me the email address you used to make the donation.I'd also like to give a big thanks to German Jaxs, Sam, and Miracle for their willingness to help.

We have a few updates to our forum ranking system. The ranking badges match the forum style a little more then before and the namings were slightly changed. Normal members will no longer have badges to go with their rankings. All members will now have dots to represent the amount of posts they have committed to the forum. On the bad side, some of our pictures were lost in the storage file. Please reupload or update your current pictures to correct the problem. Tomorrow I'll be taking the forum offline to do some maintenance and to back up our data just in case. Ciao

It's gone! The bug that came with our recent Forum Software update has left the building or at least hid somewhere. A few of our settings don't seem to be working correctly which tripped our forum's URL system but our updates should be working properly now. Thanks for letting us know.

Our forum board software was updated today to the latest version. The update should fix a few bugs from previous revisions and introduce small feature changes. I'm still configuring some of the settings back to normal so if you encounter any problems with the forum please report it here.

Divine Mafia has had many forum communities in it's years but this one has been the most advantaged and successful yet. I'm very glad that all of you have stayed with us as long as you have. Last month, I asked the community to voice their opinions on resetting the forum due to a bug that corrupted our database. I now understand that asking you to reset wouldn't be fair for any of you nor ideal. Today, the big headache of those bugs has finally been understood. Our community growth has out done what our server has been able to provide for us. To keep expanding our growth, we have planned to move our community to a different server. Our testing has so far proven successful and the complete database was able to be moved without many flaws. We still have a lot of beta testing to do but expect a full server move on March 23rd and lasting till March 24th or 25th Anything willing to help with the testing is invited to test it out at our beta forum website.

Sadly, this forum has caused the administrators and some of our members a lot of trouble because of some corruption that occurred to our database a while back. I've tried as much as I could to try to get the database to rebuild itself but I've come up blank on results. Josh and I have been debating on whether a move would be a good choice but instead I'll put it in your hands. If we do move then everyone will be required to sign up again but if we don't then we'll continue to be plagued with annoying problems that seem to get worse as the forum progresses. It's in your hands.

We understand that if we can make the forum any easier to browser then your experience will be even better. I've put some thinking into how we can sort this forum out so that subjects are very clear and any misunderstanding that we had before are a thing of the past. All of our repetitive subject areas are now gone and new subject areas have come to replace the old. This forum has always been based on helping every player around you so we've made sure that our tutorials section is very clear to find. All of our old guides are now merged to the tutorial section and anyone who has contributed to it's growth will be given a "Contributor" badge.We hope you enjoy the updates. I've just recently noticed the reply bug. I'm sorry that it slipped out without a notice but we've changed our skin to the default one until we can figure out an update for the old one.
