  1. ...would you pay more monthly ($1-$2) if Jagex discontinued all SGS and SoF updates, or made existing ones unlockable content (like dragon keepsake after x quest points or x total level or something)? Jagex needs cash to develop their game, I will give it to them if they stop pointless SGS/SOF updates and focus on quests, bosses, skill updates, creative stuff, graphical reworks, etc. What do you guys think? No matter what happens the RSOF will be full of complaints, I think Jagex realizes that and even though SOF was hated when it began, there will be grief if it is removed also. I just think that it is too distracting. Cosmetic items are cute, fun, unique, but only deserve to be a small part of the game. Promotions via SOF can cause economic shift and can give in-game advantages based on luck or bought spins. Tbh all spins should be removed idc if members price goes up. If Jagex wants promotions to give out xp, just update the game to give new ways to give xp. Skill or quest based content with xp lamp rewards are nice. Free lamps and cash from a wheel is dumb. I would pay more for removal of SGS/SOF.
  2. Happy Friday! I'm very glad to announce that the server move was successful. With the performance changes from moving our server, we've planned some work to be done to the community over the next few weeks. If you find any bugs please report them in the Help Desk.
  3. Getting annoyed by attachments being capped? Fear no more, they are no longer a problem. Share your favorite clan moments and memories with the rest of the community without restrictions. Having any problems with your display pictures being to dang big? The new limit for photos is 500KBs but will stay at the normal resolution of 150px x 150px. Also image sizes in posts are now a lot bigger then before, having bigger display pictures will help your posts look much better. Ranked members will now have their rank colors displayed fluently everywhere on the forum to display their abilities much better. We recommend you clear your cache to remove any old data from previous updates.
  4. Really hope that everyone likes the layout switch! Its taken a great deal of troubleshooting to correct a few bugs here but in the long run I believe the new layout will help a lot. Before you go deep into the forum again we would recommend that you clear your browser's cache so that all of the new updates will sync in without a hitch. Here's a guide on cache clearing. If your layout has not changed then you could change it yourself by going to the very bottom of the page and clicking on the "Change Theme" option and selecting "Animate (Import)".
  5. I know that recent downtime has made it hard to use the forum when needed the most. Our host has agreed to move our server to a hopefully even more stable one. The migration will begin tonight at 10PM Pacific and will last until tomorrow at 5AM Pacific.
  6. Username I've now added a Username section in the Profiles and Registration. It will properly identify clan members even if they've changed their names over time and their Forum Username no longer matches their RuneScape username. This option can be accessed by going into your profile (can be done by clicking your name at the top right) and clicking on the "Edit my Profile" bottom. Security and Spamming I've put some time into tweaking the forum to catch and prevent spamming as much as possible. This includes 5 second wait times between posting. A simple Q&A has been added to registration as well. Other less important updates have also been added in the background.
